Default Thrush Welded Exhaust Estimates!

So I searched around on the forum and youtube to find what in my opinion is the best sounding muffler for the money and will hopefully sound like a knock off flowmaster 40/44 and will have a deep rumble. I own a 2000 zr2 so my in is 2.5 and out is 2.25.

So here's the point of this thread, what would be a rough estimate of having a shop weld on a thrush muffler that I will purchase and weld on their own 2.5 tailpipes with tips if I was to go dual?

In my head it's pretty much cut off the old muffler, weld on the thrush, and weld on tails so labour wise around 1-2 hours + cost of tails? So hopefully under $100?

it will all depend on the shop. best thing would be to call around to find the best price. on my formula firebird i had an exhaust shop do mine, 3" pipe directly out of longtube collectors. true duals w/ glasspacks dumped in front of rear end and they charged me $200...

Thanks for the reply I decided that im going to clamp up a thrush (2.5 in and out) up to an intermediate pipe and leave it dumped. Im making sure that it'll be the right length if I want to put a 2.5 direct fit pipe on it later with a tip. I'm one of those guys who likes a little inside noise so it should suit my taste and hopefully it will be a little louder and maybe deeper sounding. Not sure searched around on youtube and couldn't find a good dump video for our trucks..... I'll keep looking.

I'm basically doing this only without the tailpipe:

Direct Fit Tailpipes For Zr2 Blazers - Page 3 - Exhaust - Zr2USA.com

......im pretty cheap aren't I XD
