At first I had a glass pack cherry bomb witha turn down on it and was not happy, so I switched over to a single inlet and outlet 40 series flowmaster with the same style turn down. My opinion, dont waste your money, to me it sounds the same.

I am going to run dual pipes or Y-pipe it right after the manifolds, with either no cats, or high flow cats, with either 240's or 244's, and run the pipe all the way to the back with some pretty beefy tips on it. Dumping after the muffler did not help it ANY on my blazer. I did this on my mustang and it changed the sound, but for the blazer swaping to the 40 and dumping it was a waste ot time and money.

what about straight piping it? keep the cat on it, but replace the muffler with a straight pipe?
