Default What size muffler???

Hey guys,

i got a 2000 blazer trailblazer 6 cyl 4.3L.. im lookin to pick up a cherry bomb muffler for it but i don't know what inlet and outlet sizes to get or what length. everything else is stock under there. can anyone help out??

Which muffler of their's are you looking at? Glasspack, Vortex, Turbo?

i have a 25" glasspack on my 2004 blazer. if a muffler shop is gonna put it on, the size isn't TOO important. they can make most of anything work!

it sounds good tho, you will love it!

i did mine a few days ago. the front it 2 1/2 and the tail pipe goes down to 2". i just used an adapter from advance and it worked great.

ah don't waste the money, just run a straight pipe sounds almost the same only better

Don't go too big, over sized exhausts on these 'smaller' V6's hurt performance/economy because they need a certain amount of exhaust scavaging for them to run properly... just ask Kyle, he had a post about that... it was a post about true dual exhaust I think

he corrected a few of us on that too lol
