where to get headers
ive looked on the web, read threads on here and i havent found the answer to my questions. will 2wd headers fit 4wd blazers?, where can i find 4wd headers? will porting the heads require larger than 1.5" primaries? & would it be cheaper to fab some block huggers yourself or just buy some production headers?

You should be able to find 4wd headers. They'll likely be shorties. I believe that Edelbrock used to sell a set that included a larger y-pipe. Try contacting a few manufacturers and see what they come up with.
Are you going to be running a carb on this? If so, something in the 400-450cfm flow rate should suffice for a well built 4.3L.

thanks for the info.ive heard edelbrock headers throws codes for the o2 sensor,i tried to find them although but came up with the 2wd set.im running fuel injection.why the shorties only for 4wd,will they hit something or is something in the way? if i fab my own would 14ga tubing be to heavy guage for the 4.3?

It's to get the y-pipe around the front driveshaft.
14ga shouldn't be a problem so long as you can work with it.
