i am doing that too (the rear tire rack), i am just going to find a totaled 2 door with it and take it. the only aftermarket tire rack i saw was one for that hooks up to the tow hitch. the problem with that is, u can't tow anything and i use my rig for towing as well as wheeling.

Spare carrier
Look at www.Tiregate.com they have a spare tire carrier that hooks into your hitch and still allows for towing. It sticks out alittle but looks good
