Just stumbled onto this post and now I'm happy... you guys justsold me ona new lift kit
. I won't need a body lift along with the lift kit as well though would I?

You could do both and then probably be able to fit 32's without trimming or rubbing. which would give you another 1/2" of clearance when the tires are inflated properly (over 31" tires). so all in all you body would be 5.5" higher all around versus just 3" higher with the 2" BL or SL and 31" tires. So the frame lift/ground clearance would be 1" with just the bodylift and 31" tires (all in the tires) or 3" with a 2" suspension lift and 31" tires, or 3.5" with 2"SL and BL with 32" tires. Just some thoughts for you.

do those rough country 2" lifts affect any brake lines or sway bar links i know they wear ball joints just like stock other than that is there any other problems
mine is a 97 jimmy and i am only going to run 31 bf all terrains on American racing baja wheels very close to stock wheel specs or will i have to run 30s (its a daily driver not tones of off roading )
