2001 2WD lift question (My question regards the spindles)
So I have been digging through the forum on lifting my 2001 2WD 2DR Blazer. I have seen it referenced between lifting springs, spindles, body lifts etc etc. I dont really want to do a body lift because I mostly need the ground clearance on the frame and stuff for where I go off roading at. I dont have to worry about mud so much cause well its all still frozen around that time of year
Anyway, I looked up spindles and I can find spindles for the s10, but they all say that the spindles will not work after the 1997 blazer but will work until 03 or 04 on the s10s. anyone know why this is? Or who sells spindles for a 2001 2WD. I can go with a spring lift kit and new upper a arm but I have read that the ride gets a little rough, and this is still going to be a daily driver.

Coil spacers are supposed to be good for lifting the front on a 2WD. Those upfront and shackles on the rear will give you 2".

question
i have a 1990 2wd blazer.
this blazer have a 2.5" lift but i don't know how they lifted up..
it doesnt have coil spacers, or replaced spindles...
i looks good.
but here is what i want to know..
in the road it jumps a little in a bump or it feel the suspension hard...
so, what can i do to make it more soft??

Rancho makes some shocks called "quick lift" and they will work on the 2wd because it has coil springs and they raise it 1.5 to 2 inches I think.

Spindles require swapping the rotors and calipers with those of an s10. Coil springs, shackles, add a leafs, and some shocks for the front would be the easiest and cheapest.
