i got them on ebay, but the seller has his own website. he only lists up to 3 inch shackles, but you could probally e-mail him and have some custom ones made to your desired length.

Default thanks

thanks i checked out his site there temp. out of stock i want to buy the 3 inch ones but im little worried that it mite be to high in the rear and i dont really want to tbar crank my z if i do it will be a half inch nothing more im going to college in a few days and i dont have the extar money to be wasting on a new aliment. and new ball joints all the time. did the shackles you buy actually raise the rear the amount the shackles said they would? by the way i love that silver color of your Z i like how my black looks when its clean but i cry when i ever i drive it in woods every scratch shows. that's why i want silver looks good and doesn't show scratch's bad i would off road a lot more if i had a light color.

concering the t-bar crank, you wont wear parts if you stay within 5 turns or 1.25 inches of lift from stock, ive been running with 1.25 inches of lift for a few months now and havent had anything wear. The three inch shackles that i installed gave me a little under three inches of lift from top of tire to bottom of flare. and with the alignmant, i just bought a lifetime alignment for the truck for $180 at firestone, cant beat it. yea, i like the color, didnt at first, kinda grew on me. Im in love with the yellow ZR's, still actually considering painting mine yellow :P

Hello. I have what is basically a twin to your 1998 ZR2. I'm looking to do a torsion bar crank on mine as well along with a 2" body lift. I am wondering if you have had any problems as a result of the crank? And if you have noticed any big difference in ride or handleing. Also I see your only running the stock size 31 10.50's, I was wondering why? I'm shooting for a 33 12.50, or falling that a 33 10.50. I am wondering if having already done this you know something I don't? Thanks for the help. And great looking rig by the way.

I havent had any issues with the lift, no worn componets yet. As far as handeling and ride quality you do feel a difrence, its a bit looser on the highway but nothing major and when ever you crank up the torsion bars you will get a slightly stiffer ride from stock.

With tire size....im sticking with stock beacuse those are the tires that came on the truck when i bought it and funds are low and tread is high. when the tread is gone i will deff be going 33's or possibly 35's (depending if i get the body lift done by then).

Any other questions.....feel free to ask!

lets see some pics of your ride! post 'em up!
