I think the kit is now built to order and that would explain the back order issues. Might as well order the kit direct from superlifts because they will tell you when the kit will be ready to ship.

I had the same when I ordered my lift through a local company. They {the kits for a blazer} are built, they do not keep them in stock at Superlift. So it does take some time for Superlift to put the full kit together for that reason, it took 4 weeks from date of order until it was received at the local company that installed it for me.

i went to order one through a local 4x4 shop and they told me 12 weeks, and it was going to cost me $3400! (Canadian) another offroad shop said 6-8 weeks and $2900!

basically i laughed at both of them and walked out.
