Default 6" lift for under $1000

So I don't know if this has been done already, I wasn't sure what to search to try and find an article on this being done. This is my idea for a lift that will cost less than a grand.
Superlift sells component boxes, so buy the front half of their 6" lift kit (sells for $500 at summit racing I believe). That gives you all the drop brackets for the control arms and dif and all that.
Next up is lifting the rear, so all you do is flip the axle. Buy spring perches and ubolts and whatever you need then weld it. Make some shock mounts.
Lastly, just buy whatever shocks you want.
Superlift front component box - $500
DIY axle flip - perches $15 each, hardware, brake line extensions, etc.
Shocks - $250
= 6" lift for around $800, whereas the cheapest full 6" kit is 1300

Am I forgetting anything?

Well I know that bigger tires and regearing would be needed, but RC's kit or superlifts kit doesnt come with that stuff either. I'm saying just the lift itself. Obviously a full kit would have a more legitimate axle flip kit, but that doesn't mean a custom one wouldn't work, as long as it's done properly, right? And that's only comparing superlift and RC's lift kits, BDS's 5" kit is somewhere around 2 grand isn't it?

yeah, I looked at RC's kit and all that's included for the rear is the axle flip components, shock mounts, and brake line extensions

What are all the things the bds comes with? Is it just a better quality rough country?
How much can you usually talk a price down like that? And who do you talk to to get a better price, just any salesman?

Why would you pass on RC's 6"? Simply because its new or because of something specific that you noticed?
