Default 97 blazer lift kit

Im looking to buy a lift kit for my 97 blazer, 4 door 4wd, but don't want a body lift because it shows to much of the chassi and i don't like that look. so Im looking for a 2-3 inch suspension lift that will look nice and clean. any suggestions?

Don't waste your money on a suspension lift that small. if you have a 4x4 do a 2" shackle lift and tbar crank for $60. I'm starting to sound like a broken record...but do a search, there are hundreds (literally) of threads dealing with this type of lift. There's even a how to on how to crank your tbars.

ya but won't that sacrifice the ride quality as well as break some parts pretty quickly?

You will wear out front end parts if you crank your t bars all the way up. I think that every turn is .25in of lift. all the way up is 2 in of lift, mine is like 1.25in. The shackles wont hurt anything.

No...it won't hurt anything. As pj pointed out the only time you would see problems is if you crank your tbars all the way up. you can crank them for 1.5" of lift pretty safely and not have any issues. There are plenty of people around here with that done, even a few with more.
If you're really worried about ride height you can look into rubber shackles. There are a few companies that make them. They will cost you a fair amount of money, but I hear they're nice for ride quality.
