Can you crank the stock keys to 2" or is it ALOT more safe to go with 1.5"?

Supposedly if you get a full 2' out of the stock bars and keys, you're bars were sagging from the start. As far as 'safe' goes, there's no real number on how tough it is on the front end. Some people have cranked them up and had no real problems with it other than the harsh ride. Others have blown out all 4 ball joints nad their CVs...you have to decide if the 2' from the suspension is worth the risk:D

The Rough Country and Superlift 2' kits that come with the new upper control arms to fix ball joint angles still say 'not for heavy offroading' because of the angle of the CVs. The angle is just very sharp. Now if you really want to get creative, you can swap out your CVs for heavy duty ones or high angle axles and you won't have to worry about 'em :)

ok, If you buy keys and crank it 2" or crank teh stock keys 2", are either more prone to damage then the other?
Also, with the body lift, Do I have to worry about steering or shifting problems?

it would be pointless to buy new keys and crank 2", your not getting anything out of that but a waste of money. just crank your stock ones at your own risk. well crank any tbar at your own risk for that matter. as far as the body lift, you shouldn't if its an automatic as far ias manual goes i think you do i just forget what it is. shift linkage or something.

I think the floor shifting automatics have a problem with the body lift as well..not sure though.
