Default accumulated lift

so i have already cranked my torsion bars and added leaf springs to the rear, it brought the whole thing up 2 inches. now if i buy a 2 inch suspension lift, like one of these http://www.rockymountainsusp.com/GM_S10_2wd.htm ..... will it accumulate 2 inches since i have already cranked my torsion bars? can i use shackles and add a leaf? and would the spindles lift work? if anyone knows a way i can add 2 more inches on top of this let me know, or do i have to go our and buy a bigger lift. i know those kits in that site has add a leafs but not sure if i can add 2 leaves haha. maybe just shackls will work?thanks for your help.

No, you cant get another 2in for a 2in kit. They do exactly what you just did for a lot more money. I wouldn't recommend cranking the tbars more than 1.5in cause it will cause premature wear on you front end parts. Also the kit you posted is for 2wd trucks with spindles. You dont have spindles. You can still add shackles to the back but theres no way to lift the front to even it out after. You can add a 2in body lift if you want an extra 2in.

good point. ha. your right i dont have spindle, that would mean coils too. not sure what i was thinking. any ways i already put a 2 inch bl on it. im probably going to just save for a 6 inch or more lift. for now il just get a nice set of 32's/ thanks for your help.

with just a body lift you are going to have to do a lot of trimming to fit 32s.

I agree with nvanzee and know by experience. My 31"s rubbed when I got them on and it was only a 2" body and 1" ad a leaf and 1" coil spacer in the front, granted mine is only a 2wd

check the thread about lifts that is stickied up top for more on what it would take to fit what tires, a 2" body lift and 1.5" front and back with some trimming could allow you to fit 32's, but if you plan on doing the 6" suspension lift down the road i would invest in something besides tires right now unless you need them. a good set of lockers are a great upgrade from my understanding, all the rubber in the world means nothing if you can't get the power to 'em
