So im planning to lift about 2 inches or something not too much but im not sure what to do, What does a good lift kit come with and whats a good one that does not cost too much? My blazer is a daily driver and im planning to off road with it soon so any advice will be appreciated.. also i know little about lifting but from what read suspension kits are better than body spacers but body spacers are cheaper, also would a 2.5 lift negatively impact anything on the car like majorly?

 

If you are looking for more flex then the body lift won't help too much in that area, but the body lift if going to be cheaper and cause a lot less trouble in the long run that a suspension lift.

Really if you think about it. Suspension lifts lift the frame. Your axles are still at the same height. The only way to lift them is bigger tires. How do you get bigger tires? Wheel clearance. Body lifts give you clearance and doesnt screw with the geometry of your suspension. The 2.5 lift while it does lower your front diff, it doesnt lower it a lot. Yuo still have to crank on your t bars causing a poor angle on your axles which will cause them and other susp. parts to wear a bit faster. The choice is yours.Quality parts ,Baljoints tierods axles will help. dontt cheap out

 

Buy a taller truck

You would think but as long as you drive intelligently it's remarkably stable! I've had it in some sketchy situations that I wouldn't have driven it even when it was small and on 31s but the the situation required it and it never once tried top go over so. It also handles better on road now than it did even in stock form app I'd say it's just fine!

And to the OP you will be surprised at what these things will do with nothing more than a good set of tires and intelligent driving!

 

Rex: there is a warning sticker that Chevy put over the drivers visor that states "HIGHER ROLL OVER RISK" I think it prudent and wise not to make the engineering worse. I'm not smarter than the General
