Default Another option for rear lift on 4-doors.

I did a 1.5" t-bar crank and put 31x10.50 tires on the stock rims. My truck is an LT trim. I first thought about getting shackles for the rear. But occasionally I have to pull a trailer and thought my rear springs were to soft anyways (It's not a car after all ). My brother in-law got "Monroe sensa-trac extra load carrying shocks" for his old f-150. He told me it lifted it almost 2". I didn't believe him until I seen it for myself. So I looked to see if I could get them for my blazer (but cannot get for the ZR2). Sure enough... I found them at advanceauto parts for $114/pair. They allow 1200lbs more weight. They have a non-adjustable coil spring on the shock itself. All you have to do is bolt them on like a normal shock. They worked perfect for what my use for them were. They leveled out my truck and My truck doesn't bounce around anymore with a loaded trailer behind it.
The first two pics are of the t-bar crank and no lift in back w/31" tires. The last two are with the new overload shocks that's all. And they've been on there for two weeks now. So they're settled in and everything.

Looks great. Now you just need to pull off the pinstripe and all the chrome trim

My plastic is faded on the trim. I thought about taping it off and repainting it all semi-gloss black like my rims. And the front bumper is scratched and pitted really bad. So I'm thinking about it... but I like to hold onto alittle bling! I also would like to de-badge the rear hatch.

You didn't even mention the running boards. You're slipping, man.

I dare to be different. Actually I'm afraid of all the rust I'll find where all the screws are.

the monroe coil overs are a great shock lifetime warranty and extra load capacity would recommend to all who tow anything.

I do not intend to thread jack but why not do what we do with Gen1 Ford Explorers and get a hold of some 63" silverado springs?

you get 2" of lift on an explorer with them (with a good set, not a worn out flat spring)
