Default Body lift

hey i got a 2000 ZR2 Blazer and i have found out that they dont make 3" BL for them. So i was wondering if i coulld buy a BL for a older Blazer and it would still work. I found a good BL with everything included (all brackets and steering extendsions). The link is below.

Will this BL work for my 2000 ZR2??

Why not go with the 2" one? The other one wont come with bumper relocation brackets you need, and it would be a pain in the *** for just another inch.

A lot of people do it on non-ZR2 blazers I'm not sure how many with ZR2's have though. You may have to get creative lifting your front and rear bumpers 3", and most definitely pay attention to the brake and fuel lines when your jacking up the body. If it were me I would go for the kit designed for your ZR2 and eat the extra inch. Could always go with shackles, AAL, and a mild T-bar crank as well to get a little more ground clearance.

i also have another question. how would you know if your blazer has the torsion bars cranked up a little bit....my front end is about a inch higher than my rear and i was wondering if it has been cranked up before i bought it.

The leaf springs in the rear could be sagging. Check at the back of the torsion bar there will be a porkchop shaped key and a bolt below it. I believe stock is about 3/4" thread sticking out, each turn past clockwise that will lift it approx. 1/4". Someone may have turned the bolt in to lift it or to level out a sagging torsion bar.
