Default body lift with brush guard

I have a brush guard that mounts into the tow hooks and behind the front grill. I just received my 2 inch body lift and am going to put it in this week. I remember seeing a post about this but can't seem to find it. Does someone have any idea on what can be done to fab a mount so I can use the grille. Oh I have a 2005 gmc jimmy 2 door.

I have a body lift and brush guard no problems here.

I know mine is a little different. Mine bolts to the frame. But my brush guard fits on the front without any issues with my 2 inch body lift on. The only thing you notice, and this happens to everyone that gets a body lift is there will be a space between the grille/lights and bumper. It might be a small space but it's still a space. As long as you have the bumper brackets, you should be fine.

Yep it came with front and rear bumper brackets. Thanks for the replies, I was afraid I wouldn't be able to use the brush guard that I bought a month ago.

worst case you could always get some steel from local hardware and fab up an extension if you had to.
i would think you will be fine though.

I used the original mounts that came with my guard. I bought some 2" steel tubing and used them as spacers. Grabbed me some longer bolts, drilled a few holes, and BOOM! Perfectly placed grille guard.

Mine bolts right to my frame. With my BL, my guard doesnt line up correctly, and as a result, sticks out. Its bent down about 3" though since someone hooked onto it and yanked a truck out
