yes the kit bumper mounts go on the out side of the hitch, and there is enough room (the bolt hole are elongated) to allow for the extra thickness

1. I'm in the process of doing my lift however the body shifted on me so only 4 out of 12 bolts line up to get started. I guess I lift again and start prying.

2. Body mounts/bushings are rusted away behind front wheels. We'll see what happens.
