Default Body Lift and Steering Geometry

I've heard that when you do a body lift, it messes up the geometry of the steering and leaves a gap between your steering column and your guages. Also, it moves your pedals down. Is that true, and if so, is there any way around it?

you could be right, and i could be wrong but ive put a body lift on a 03 zr2 and an 87 blazer, and never noticed a gap or had steering problems.

All of those things are attached to the body, not the frame. As such, nothing inside the cab will move. It will change the angle of the steering shaft between the column and the steering gear box and your break lines will flex, but your steering column and pedals will not move at all.

Oh okay, thanks for the info. I had just heard that the steering column was one of the problems with a body lift, so i have been hesitant to do one even tho i really want to lift my blazer. So are there any problems any of you have encountered while doing a body lift? Because i would like to know what im getting myself into...thanks
