Default Body lift or suspension lift?

I have a 2000 blazer ls which I believe is a zr2 version, I would like to know what are the factory lift specs, I currently have 31 inch tires on it and would like go up on the tire size what is the largest tire I put on the factory spec's and what would be needed to go to perhaps a 33 inch. keep in mind I really don't want a lot of space between the tire and body, so I would like to have it lifted so that 33 inch would be the largest tire that would fit under that specific lift. one more thing, is it possible to hide the frame am I correct when I say that the body lift is what causes the frame to be exposed? thanks a lot. PS I would like to find someone who is a off road junkie, don't want to make bad decisions on my 4x4.

i beleive you can get away with 32's with stock height im not 100% on that tho, but for 33's youll need atleast 2" of lift. as far as hiding the frame ive never seen anyone try to do anything about so you might just have to deal with and like you a said a body lift will just expose that much more of the frame. also check out your rpo codes in your glovebox and look for the ZR2 code.
