How To: Rough Country 2.5" Lift Install

Lol yeah he said the other day you two gave the tbars a bit of a twist. He noticed that my cv's are a little straighter. I may have to twist the bars a bit for clearence on the 32 x 11.5's. Damn things are fat on 10" wide rims so I may give them 1/2" twist, nothing crazy. I like them being straighter than stock.

It may not be related, just a coinkey-dink... have you folded a small rag & stuffed it under the hood by the hinge on either side?
Opened a front door & lifted it to look for play?
The rag trick will tell you if you have worn conical washer on the hood hinge & the door lift will point out worn door bushings. Both make odd sounds that don't seem like they could come from their respective areas.

It was a lot of work, but well worth the trouble. I did a 2" body lift and that took 10 hours also. If you take your time and don't plan on getting it done in a day (take a long week end with some friends). Then again you could pay some one to install it. The 5" or 6" lifts will be more work I would think.

I did this lift and a body lift as well. I "took my time" and put in a few hours here and there...took me 3 weeks haha. I was quoted $500 for both jobs, great deal but you wont have the satisfaction of saying, yeah I lifted MY truck. Well worth the time and effort when it is done
