k10 blazer

I am just getting into four wheeling. First of all is the suspension on K5 and K10 the same? I have an 1981 K10. I just riased the rear by switching the rear hanger. I need to find out how to lift the front. I am raiseing it four inches. Can i use a block under the leaf spring or is there a better way to do this with out buying a kit? I also thought of useing a helper spring.

on your title is says k10 doesn't it? its a k5 blazer. you can go zero-rate or i've seen guys go with longer shackles. the best way is to get different springs that have more of an arch. alot stiffer though

I'm not up on K series blazers but Isn't the K10 a 4wd short bed truck from the 60's?

If that's the case I know they both had independent front suspension.

yeah the pick up and k5 stuff up front is the same. im not quite sure about the back. i have k5 springs up front on my k30. its not recommended to use blocks up front cause they can possibly be shot out in a high torque situation. unless you want something small like a one inch. you dont have to buy the whole kit you can buy just the front springs. i bought mine used off ebay
