ok have owned mainly lifted fullsize trucks with 38s, but never done blazer .whats cheap lift for huge rubbers ,got bug to go play in mud again with 500 dollar blazer that runs great .

Hate to tell you the is no lift that is cheap enough to put big tires on one of these. A 5 or 6" suspension lift will run you about $1800 used. A body lift, shackles and tbar cranck will run you about $250 or so. A SFA will go upwards of $3000 providing you can do all the work and find a GOOD set of axles cheap.

Depends what the blazer is that you are starting with....

Fullsize blazers are a little larger... and can be lifted a little easier....

But a cheap lift will run you about 500 bucks in the cost of steel... and then you can weld it up however you like....

Backyard lift = cheap = big tires = not reliable....

i have a 2001 s10 blazer with a 3in body lift and 1-3in shackle lift. i have got 31x10.5 bfg all-terrain kos on pro-comp 15x10 wheels. Has any one ever investigated swaping zr2 front diff and rear axels to a non zr2? ive been trying to figure out if its even possible. i know that the zr2 is wider but could u modify front diff brackets to compensate for the differance? any thoughts are open for suggestion

A SFA is not $3000... its $500-$1000 depending on the axles you buy, in a junk yard DIY build. It can go to $6000 & up if you go all out an everything.
End cost of mine will be $1500. $1000 was on the axles alone.

sorry but i forgot to mention it is a solid axle 76 1/2 ton k5 with a 350 turbo 400 trans full time 4x4 . its pretty good shape i am second owner and drives great runs great .

blazers, pick ups. all the same as far as lifts go. just get a 4 inch lift if you dont mind hacking up the fenders, lifts for these trucks are cheap. probably around 600 bucks for front springs and rear blocks. check craigslist and ebay too. i bought a complete used 6 inch all spring lift for 300 bucks a while back
