Angry Lift problems

I just finished my PA body lift, tbar crank, and shackles yesterday. I still have rubbing issues while turning! At about 1/2 turn it rubbs on the fender. I have 31s on 15by8s with 4.5" backspace. I know alot of people run this set up with out problems? The only thing I havn't done is get an alignment, its way off and its getting done in the morning. Could the alignment mess up the clearence to the fender?

Ok. Ball joints, control arm bushings, right hub assembly replaced (major pain in the butt), and got an alignment. Still I am rubbing on the fender!! Does no one else have this problem?? With 4" of lift, should I still be rubbing?

I think the problem you are having is caused by the lack of backspacing on your rims. What you have done is gone from 6" of backspacing on your stock rims to now having 3.5" of backspacing compared to the stock rims.

Well, in actuallity, it is more that the outer edge of the rim now sticks out 2.5" further than it did with the stock rim. Add to that the increase in width of the tires you are now running compared to stock and this is why you are rubbing on the fender when you turn.
