But there is no way to use lift spindles on a 4wd? I really wish that there was so that I can keep my suspension geometry in working order...

Oh, I didn't realize yours is a 4wd. Do a t-bar crank and buy my shackles and you'll be good to go.

i was trying to do this as cheaply as possible, so i dont want to have to change the brakes to lift it. so im just going to stick with taller coil springs

I'm a little late on this, but I'm thinking about doing the same thing as 20012wd is. It just seems like replacing the brakes and rotors and all that is too much time and money.. What would you think about 2" rough country springs in the front and 2" shackles in the back?

Brakes have to come off anyway to do the lift. Why not throw on new equipment while everything is torn down?

It just seems like it would be so expensive to buy all new s10 parts... is it really worth it?

Look at post #26 and click the link. It will take you to the parts break down and prices. It really isn't that expensive.

It was worth it in my book. Except the add a leafs. They are rough as hell. I've been waiting till it cools down to do spring over axle conversion.
