need some help on a lift......
I want to do a lift on my 98 4DR 4WD but I really dont know the first thing about it, since this is my first truck....... I would like to do a 6" Suspension Lift and a 2" Body lift.......now my questions are.......What companys are good on eah the body and suspension lifts? What if any other mods do I have to do with the lift? What kind of rims would look good and what size tire can i push?

Superlift makes a good 6" kit, from what i hear its pretty solid but you might get some vibration out of the front drive shaft but that seems to be the same with just about every other company like BDS and trail master. As for body lifts, they are all the same so save some green and go with performance accessories.
As for size of tire, you should be safely able to get 33's under there, possibly 35's. Might have to do some trimming for the 35's, 33's should be ok. Either way i say get some new widerrims with better back spacing so you dont end up being tippy.
