Question Quarstions bout a 04 blazer.....

I have a question ya'll might can answer for me. I have a 04 4 door 4x4 blazer. I was looking for a body lift for it so I contacted 4 wheel parts in Nashville, well after a long talk and a lot of hold time, they came back and said that they didn't make a BL for the 04, they said it only went up to an 3 model. My question is whats the deal with the kits stoppin at 03? Ain't a 04 and a 03 the same friggin thing? If not I really need to be informed. I'm not in a huge rush I'm just curious. Sorry for the long post and thanks for any help.

I may be wrong, but I believe either '04 or '05 is when the Blazer became a Fleet Only vehicle. This may be why.

I heard the pickup version of the S10 was fleet only those years. Can't be the Blazer though cause i ordered my 05 Blazer new in Oct of 04. And a few guys that i used to work with that same time ordered blazers as well. GM was having a BIG SALE on them around here. But even if it was Fleet only you think that you should still be able to buy replacement parts for those actual years. I also heard that the 04 and 05 models were all overstock parts and run-offs(trying to use up leftover parts)

Yeah you would think they would make parts available cause now that I'm trying to lift it, before I checked with yall, I know it had me wonderin what the difference was. Thats interesting too about the overstock and using up the leftover parts, to be honest with you I never really thought about that.
