Default Rear sway bar removal?

I am in the process of installing a body lift now and I've heard alot about the removal of the rear sway bar which seems to be rather advantageous on the trails. My question is, will my Blazer feel any more unstable on the road with the rear sway bar gone and how will it handle the curves(body roll)? I have a 2000, 4X4X4 LS, T-Bar crank, lift shackles, and (hopefully today) 2" P.A. body lift.
