hey folks i got a 2001 2dr NON zr2 blazer and im trying mydamndest to find a 4-6" suspension lift kit i have no idea where to look im workin on a small budget i will go with a smaller lift if i have to workin with just a little under 600 bucs although i can adjust that a bit further north any help is greatly appreciated oh and btw its a 2wd

 

i think there are only two options for a 2wd blazer thatll be in ur price range, either a 2" body lift or Rough Country makes a 2" suspension lift, one other option would be a 3" body lift from a first gen but youll have to fab ur own brackets for the bumpers.

 

now just out of curiosity what is the main ifference between the 2wd and 4wd suspension

 

4wd have a torsion bar suspension up front and the 2wd have springs.

 

Synergy offers a set of lift coils and a body lift for 2WD's.

 

Just get lift coils and lift spindles, and youll be at 4-6'' in no time. Then throw a body lift on there, SOA the rear, and youve got yourself a big truck

 

im not look for a "big"truck perse i just wanted to go a bit higher than 2" and err SOA????? oh and i know this is a bit off topic but i installed a set of aftermarket fogs and for some stupid reason they keep blowing fuses and idk why the wiring aint pinched anywhere its annoying the **** out of me any ideas?

 

SOA= spring over axle. Its putting the rear leaf springs on top of the axle rather than underneath. It nets about 5" of lift on good springs.

As for your fogs...what circuit did you wire it to?

 

For $600 your best bet is to just do a body lift and live with it. After that go to a spindle lift in the front and whatever you can afford in the rear.
