Super lift 2.5in or Rouch country 2.5in
I need help on which lift to go with on my 89 s15 jimmy 4x4. superlift 2.5 or the rough country 2.5. i got the t bars cranked now and i was thinking about just replacing the UCAs with aftermarket ones from superlift($300) or should i just buy the complete rough country lift for $450. Opinions.

Popping could be a lot of things including the ball joints. And you will want to run longer shocks than stock. If those fox shocks are for the stock size, they won't work. They included longer shocks in the kit for a reason. The only thing I can see is ordering other shocks the same length as the rough country ones if you don't like the rc shocks. The stock shocks may top out and prevent suspension movement, that is the reason to use longer shocks.

I've heard things about steering problems. I plan on buying the stabilized but I hear it messes with geometry and makes your steering tight. Which wears out you tie rods and all other steering problems. Someone also said the rc shocks suck. I plan on making my truck a prerunner so I want the fox shocks anyway. Do I need to get an alignment when I install the lift. How long does it take to install the lift.
Yes, after any ifs lift, you will need an alignment.
Here is a youtube vid that might help you out.
This is a fellow members youtube video of installing the lift. This is a 2nd gen, but the 1st gen is similar.
