TTB Front Axle
I've owned a ford bronco II 4X4 with that crap and hated it. Their weak, even compared to IFS standards. And no this thing wasn't offroaded hardcore, it was owned by an old man and me.
I also owned a 92 2wd F250. Same concept just no diff, transfercase, ect.. No one could ever get that damn thing aligned properly.
And I've also owned a 88 F150 with a dana 44 high pinion SAS with coils. This truck even on 37s rode the best out of the 3. If I ever own another 4X4 ford this bodystyle you better believe Ill put another SAS with coils on it.
In conclusion.. IMO stay away from this junk setup if possible. I love the older Ford body styles (shoot me die hard GM guys
haha) but I hated this setup and will stay away from it at all costs even if that means sinking 2k into a axle swap. This is my experience with this particular set up take it or leave it
