U-Bolt size

Got a set of Pro-Comp add a leaf short leafs yesterday. I plan to install them however i read tht i should just cut the old u bolts off and get new ones. What size should i be looking for with the added hight? will a 9'' long x 3'' wide work?

With just add aleafs the stock size should work

im lucky enough to have a few spring places very close by that make u bolts. so i would just put the leafs in and see if the old ones are of proper length then just bring the cut old u-bolts up to the place and say i need these

that gets iffy. sometimes you literally cant reuse them, they either wont come off or they will rip up the threads when you back the nuts off.

youre really NOT supposed to use them but i have also in the past, i remember going to re use a set i took off because i just had to move the truck out of the shop and the threads ripped off when i went to tighten them. but if you got a shop very close by they really arent that expensive
