Default what should i do

i have a 97 jimmy and i am curious as too what type of lift kit to purchase. i wanna do suspension and at least put 30's on it but the wife has got me on a strict budget. but i still wanna hit the trails at the badlands in indiana but i dont know if the stock ride hieght will make it. so i guess im asking how big can i go to accomadte 30's and also do the kits come with the brake line extensions or do i have to buy those?

My 1st gen t-bar crank was simple. I assume the 2nd can't be too hard. Where are you located. I am an hour from badlands near Indy and may be be able to help.
