Default What size tires for 6" lift?

I have a 99 4x4 blazer and I am planning on getting a 6" trailmaster suspension lift. I have some black rock 15x8 soft 8's with 4" backspacing. Will I be able to fit 33" tires or would I be better off getting some 32"x11.5 tires?

You can fit 33's, but you have to trim your fenders tho. So stick with the 33's.

You can fit 33's your going to have to do alot of trimming, it also depends on how wide they are, when i turn i hit my front sway bar bad.
i have 33's on a 6" BDS lift. just i hope you dont mind cutting up your fenders as NJ4x4blaze said

What would be the best way to trim the fender? And where? I'm guessing the outer rear section? If I get 33's they will probably be 33x10.5 bfg mud terrain km2.

Dont get 33x10.5.. Get 33 x 12.5".. Btw since you are going with a 4" back space, you don't have to worry about hitting your sway bar. That normally happens when you stick with a stock 6" back space or stock wheel. As for trimming, you will know where to trim when your wheels begin to rub. Normally the back of the front fender and the front of the rear fenders are the area's you need to trim. If you decided to go off roading, then prepare to cut more or just do a body life.

Well, I do want to go off roading, but I don't want to pay $525 on labor for a 2" BL, at least that's what I was quoted. So, should I get 32x12.5 and not worry about rubbing? I really don't want to start hacking metal off the fenders, cause that's just a pain in the butt. But at the same time I do want the extra .5" lift, 33" tires give, but not the price they come with.

if your going to go offroading you will want the 33's. you can do the BL in your garage. ask a buddy to come over, it will take about two hours.
hacking the metal isnt really all that hard. you just simply draw a line with tape and cut with a sawzaw. if you dont want a huge price for tires man get some dick cepek crushers, or off brand name like mud dawgs.
all in all, if your planning on offroading heavily, you will cut anyways.
i have cut alot on my truck, and still need to and i offroad alot.

33s will rub on the trails with only 6in lift. You will probably rub with 32s too. I have 33s and I rub with the suspension compressed. I have a 6in lift with a 2in body and a torsion crank.

OK, thanks for the info, I'll keep that in mind when I get the money to purchase new tires.

Alright, does anyone know if their 6" lift required any exhaust or driveshaft modifications or replacements? The place I'm sorting the deal with thinks it might. The lift is a 6" trailmaster sus lift.
