someone has apparently done some.custom work on the wiring.. I need a diagram of the fuse box so I can correct some of it

 

You could wait for someone to hopefully dig up a diagram for you. You could also purchase a used Factory Service Manual set (like THIS SET on eBay for around $30 delivered) or get yourself an AllDataDIY.com account for your truck; either option would be great if you're planning on keeping the truck for a bit. Either of those two options give you a wealth of information at your fingertips without the wait for someone to post up information that may or may not be 100% applicable to your vehicle.
