So i recently got a 1996 blazer. It ran fine for a week and then it died as i was driving, i've changed alternator, battery and its still dying, But my guage's stop working and when i hit the dash they come back on but die again (it completly shuts off) any help very much appreciated

 

faulty ignition switch i bet.

 

Like i can boost it and get it going but then the volts slowly drop and then its comepletly dead.

 

probaly the famous problem where you have a short or something draining the battery.Maybe try the search here cause I know this is a common problem.

 

figured it out, Command start had been installed and itwas shorting out
