2000 Blazer no power to fuel pump
Have a "00 Blazer with new fuel pump that is getting no power at the wiring connector to the pump. Fuel sensor voltage is present but no pump voltage. FP relay tests good; Pin 85 at the relay junction shows correct control voltage and Pin 86 ground tests okay. Pin 87 load voltage should be hot all the time but there is no voltage present. Does anyone know what would cause that relay contact to be showing no voltage?
You may have to start doing some spot checking. Basically find the routing for the wire and go down the way to see if there is a break in the line. If the connection for the wire up front has voltage it should have voltage throughout the wire itself. So that’s where I’d go with it. Just disconnect the battery and start the painstakingly slow task of finding the break if there is one. Keep us updated.
