2000 Jimmy Electrical Issue
Originally i thought my alt was goin bad i was having flashing/dimming lights and my volt gauge was doin a lil bit of bouncing when i either turned on my a/c or headlights/brights but worse when i activate my turn signals. I do have a small squeak from time to time under the hood but i think i have narrowed that down to the belt tensioner. I have checked the alt with a multimeter and it stays at 14.4 to 14.6 when at idle and when i activate my turn signals it drops a to say 14.2/.1 and then bounces back to resting. i was told it could be a bad ground as well. My question is if i were to do a big 3 (since i plan to put an audio system in teh future) could that possibly help my situation? or do i have to trace down the ground wire for the specific issue and try to ground it there?
on a side note while driving i notice my gas gauge when i get off teh gas drops lower than accurate and once i press teh gas again and start driving it seems to go back to where it should be. Any help with this would be great!!!

Depends on if the ground wired you replace in your big three upgrade are the source of the problem. If you're having grounding issues, they could lie elsewhere, or even within the wiring itself.
