Default 2001 Blazer LS 4.3 2D ELEC PROBLEMS?

OK...Here is what I got...and what I have done...

First off I noticed my check engine light on...used my handy dandy scanner tool..got the dreaded P0410...Cool no worries..read all about it right? WRONG

First off I didn't check the fuse or relay first...I changed out the air pump immediatly then realized that didn't work or turn on...FOUND A BLOWN FUSE!

Ok I replaced the fuse and relay cause you can't tell if the relay is bad or not by looking at it..I inspected the airpump again and there was water in it. I went to the dealership and bought a new Check Valve. OK COOL! Replaced everything in the Secondary air injection. Sounded good at first..Could hear the motor turn on and such from a cold start then silenced.

Here is my problem...P0410 BACK ON GENERAL AGAIN AND TWO CODES..BOTH THE SAME THING....

Took it to the shop today cause I am tired of messing with it...30 min later he gave me back my keys and didn't tell me anything I didn't already know.

Supposdly the OHM reader tested the air pump as still good..no blown fuse and relay is fine...Just not getting any power to the system...They refered me to an electrical shop in Downtown Dallas...could be somewhere between 1hr-8plus hrs of Diagnostic at 90 bucks an hr...

Anyone have any similar symptoms to this? Is it the Computer out now?

OH BTW My reverse lights don't work either..NO BLOWN FUSES ANYWHERE...any suggestions?

MUCH APPRECIATED!!!!!!!

NEW: AIR PUMP, CHECK VALVE, RELAY, FUSE, HOSES, ECT

Have you actually diagnosed the problem? Replacing parts can only get you so far. You must diagnose the code.

P0410 - Secondary Air Injection System

Searching for P0410 can also give you what others have dealt with concerning this code. Since you asked if others had similar symptoms, you likely didn't search...

And really... What made you want to post how many times your thread was viewed? If you are going to bump your post, at least try to make it meaningful. Did you sit on your thumbs all day clicking the refresh button waiting for someone to respond or did you research the problem, try some things out, etc? If you researched or tried some things, what did you find/determine? Meaningful 'bumps'!!

Your right, I didn't search around for this code because I am quite sure ther are several probably 15 or more posts on the same thing. So I posted a thread on what I have done with the problem plus the extra couple things that are going on with the problem that someone else might not have. Just another P0410 post. Actually I work deep nights 11p-7a bored out of mind, I was on here one time, there is a counter, easily tells, I have been working on the P0410 for about 3 weeks and I have done quite a bit of research on it and take it to several shops who pretty much told me I was S.O.L...Thanks again for being a jerk, JERK

No problem is insurmountable, you just have to go through the diagnosis.

Use the very thorough link I provided and run down through the diagnostic checks yourself so you can actually report some useful information for those of us that are willing to respond to your problem and attempt to help you. If you have a question about a specific step, ask. But be specific. Working across the internet to help someone with a problem is difficult enough. Poor descriptions don't help anyone.

And name calling? Really? If that is the attitude you are going to take, then I'll just move along. You are the one who came here looking for help, best to not let your attitude ruin it for you.
