Not sure what is going on. I recently put in a new Transfer Case Control Module and now every few times i start the car the service 4wd light comes on and the 4 switches on the transfer case switch are all lit up, not just the "2 Wheel" switch like usual. This happens about every 3rd time I start the car. When it starts normally the "2 Wheel" is the only light on and the car will then switch into 4 wheel drive no problem. Has anyone had this problem? I haven't been able to find a single thread or video with a similar issue yet...I replaced the actual switches today and it still is doing the same thing.

When you replaced the TCCM, how did the contacts in the plug look? More often than not, there is corrosion present in this connector that can cause the problem to reoccur if not cleaned up properly.

 

The contacts looked pretty good and I just added some dialectic grease and plugged the new one in. How would you recommend cleaning them out?
