Hey guys, have never posted but have used the forums a ton since getting my blazer 6 years ago, everyone has been a great help and I thank you.

But now onto the issue,

As I stated, I have a 2003 blazer and when I release the rear hatch glass the dome lights flicker on\off, they don't do it when the hatch is shut, just when I open the rear hatch.

It's like there is a bad switch for the rear glass dome lights, but for the life of me I cannot figure out where it is, hence me begging you all to help me figure out where this thing is.

I have searched everywhere and have come up with nothing.

Check the wires from the glass release mechanism. I'm thinking you have a loose wire in there, that only gets connected when opening the glass. Kinda like when you open the doors, the little button sensors turn on the lights...

 

Ok, I will pull it apart this weekend and have a look.
