Default 2003 ZR2 Overhead Console *please help*

Just bought a 2003 ZR2 and my overhead console did not light up, but the map lights and sunroof button works fine. I found an exact console and plugged it in today and nothing again. I've read about every thread and look at all the schematics. I am not good at reading schematics. Anyway my console just has a on/off button and us/met button. Could someone please point me in the right direction so I can get this thing working. Thanks.

I checked all the fuses in the inside of vehicle, but none under the hood. All the fuses were ok.
