Default 2HI Button Light

I have a quick question. I have the 3-button 4x4 selector switch on my 97 Blazer and the 2HI button does not light up. (Yes, the 4HI and 4LO do light up and when I select them and when I select the 2HI button it does come out of 4wd - just no light to indicate) How can I change out the light on that button? Do I have to buy a new switch?
Thanks.

On the first gens if the bulb goes out you have to replace the switch (if you are concerned with it lighting up) . I am not sure on the second gen, hopefully someone will help out with this. Otherwise, Just pull the switch (easy to do) and see if you are able to replace the bulb.

The bulbs are changeable on that year . Pull the switch out and turn the little socket. Then change the bulb.

There we go. on the bulb should be listed which bulb number it is, go to your parts store and get a new one, Good luck.

Thanks! That one was easy. I didn't realize all the electrical issues with these vehicles. Oh well, they're fun to drive.

4wd wastes gas LOL! Unless you are off road, no need for it, so I can see that happening.
