Default 42" light bar

Just some pics of my new curved led light bar!
Mounts are for 07-14 silverado and cables are routed down the side of the windscreen inside the plate which holds the outer weatherstrip. That routing was so convenient i guess GM intended it from factory 😉

Looks good!

Make sure your door is closing all the way along the top. I had to hammer on my Silverado brackets to make the top edge of the door not contact them when I mounted my 50" curved. Otherwise it keeps the door from shutting all the way at the top and sealing and you end up with water leaking in when it rains...

Off topic question; what's the story on those flairs? I see your's is a 4 door, and those don't quite look as large as grafted on ZR2 flairs but maybe I'm looking at the wrong?

I'm thinking that they are the fiberglass "Jungle" flares.

Your on spot with the brackets, had to 'massage' them with the hammer to get them tight to the cab!

The flares are what comes with the LTs in europe, i had a 1995 LT once, and it had the same kind of flares, a customer at my shop had a 2001 v6 4x2, it was an U.S. import and it was narrow. eg. no flares at all.. But i do like the 4x2 wheels, looks alot like am. racing torque twists...

Maybe they look different because of the bigger tires and 2/4" spacing?

Ha! Was thinking the same thing about the flares.

I did notice the side marker light...have never seen those in the States on an S-Series.

Truck looks great, though. Light bar turned out really nice. Cheers!
