Default 91 S10 Blazer 4wd Speedometer

Hello everyone, I have a didital dash the speed started jumping all over, sometimes only registering 0. now mostly 0. Where to start, would 1 of the sensors cause this or could it be the dash assembly? Thankk you for any help.

It is very possible that the VSS in the output housing of the transfer case is either dirty or bad. I have posted specs on the output typically found on the 2nd gens, but I'm not sure what the older speed sensors output. New ones should be >250mV-AC when you spin the driveshaft. The frequency is what, in your case, the DRAC (digital ration adapter controller) uses to then send a signal out to the dash.
