I have a 1997 Blazer and have had it since it was pretty much brand new I have always taken very good care of it. Now all of a sudden it has no break lights, Hazardous lights, and the Trani did a funky thing not shifting up or down. I was able to get it back home and then could not get the key out of the ign. I finally jiggled it enough that the key disengaged. I then put the key back in and it started right up like normal and I drove it down the road and it shifted like it never had a problem I have done some research on here about a mulit funciton module. I also looked on some other things and found that I may need a new ignition control module as well. and even maybe a new switch just by what I am reading. If any of you guys would be kind enough to let me know if this more or less the same as a multi function switch that would be great and could you tell me how time consuming can this be to change out???
