Hey all, my 98 Blazer 4x4 with a 5.7 Vortec swap has been being a pain lately. My fuel pump runs all the time with the truck off and key out. It only shuts off if either the 30 amp hvac fuse is pulled or the fuel pump relay is pulled. I thought I found the problem with the oil pressure switch and replaced it and it was good for a week and it started acting up again. So I was checking the under hood fuse box over and noticed some minor corrosion but messed the box up disassembling it too far.
My buddy had a 2.2L box laying around. The two boxes are different, and I was wondering if I can move the connectors/pins from my old box and make the 2.2 box work or should I just go find a 4.3 box?
That’s a big nope, I tried moving pins around today and without fully disassembling and risking the copper inside there are certain fuses locations that are missing. I was able to find an exact match for my old one though so I picked that up off eBay thankfully.
