99 blazer lighting issues

Thumbs up 99 blazer lighting issues

I have a 99 blazer and when i start the truck day or night my headlights and taillights come on even with light switch off. replaced relay still happens any ideas also tried the dome switch override for 2000 and up blazer to no avail

that is normal
drl = daytime running lights
ahl = auto headlights

there is a way to disable them both...but depending on where you are it may be illegal to disable them.

it is easy to disable them...search drl and ahl disable.

the dome switch trick will only work on 2000 and up and it only works once...you would need to do it everytime you get in the truck.

no there is an issue because there is a switch normally if you go thru a tunnel the lights would switch from drl to ahl no longer switches lights are now on all the time.
