hello everyone! So I just got 96 blazer with the v6 in it. Love the truck, but its having some electrical issues. the DRLs are working (may be dim, but not sure cause I havent had it that long). when driving at night the headlights quickly flashed off then back on. the next day they stayed on, but they flickered and when I pressed the parking brake in and it turned off my headlights. That hasnt happened again yet, just odd. The next day my interior lights stayed on and drained my battery dead. pulled the the fuse for the interior lights, and that seemed to help. Also head the flickering noise from the fuse relay in the glove compartment. The relay on the top left was hot. Seen some similar issues concerning the DRL, but nothing concrete on the fix. Ive been searching the electrical diagrams in the Chiltons, but havent figured out what the relays are in the glove box. Im thinking i either have a short somewhere or a bad relay... and maybe a bad interior light switch? thoughts?
