99 Blazer Trailblazer memory seat issue
I recently had a total battery failure in my Blazer. After replacing the battery everything seemed okay. As I own several vehicles and am the only driver of my Blazer I did not check the operation of my driver seat. A few days later my wife and I had to drop off our Acadia for a service appointment. I drove my Blazer and she drove her Acadia. After the drop off she wanted to drive the Blazer back home. My Blazer is the first year Trailblazer option, all leather and loaded with comfort and convenience options including memory seats.
So my lady hops in the driver seat, punches the #2 memory button and nothing happens. Long story short, the passenger seat works great, the driver seat is dead except for the power lumbar.
I have a full service scan tool and it shows no problem with the power seat module. So I cannot get the rear fasteners loose because of the seat position.
Any thoughts on how to trouble shoot and /or get this seat out are appreciated. If I can get it out I can probably repair it. Help is solicited. Thank you.
